Yuejian Zhang

Yuejian Zhang is a PhD student at the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Auckland. He graduated with an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. Yuejian’s interests lie in the simulation of mechanical vibrations and electromagnetic fields.

PhD project:

Yuejian‘s doctoral research focuses on the optimization of metamaterial structures, involving the application of machine learning algorithms. Both theoretical and experimental studies are to be conducted, with applications in vibration reduction, noise control, and wave manipulation.
